I began my piece by outlining the shapes of the fingers and the palm so that I could make the sizing as realistic as possible. I then shaded the sides opposite of the light point to create dimension. Lastly I added the details of the finger nail and wrinkles/lines. The most difficult part of creating this was making the sizes realistic and the proportions even. What I would do differently next time is add highlights on the light points.
